In the State of Oklahoma- the rule regarding Protective Orders is governed under the criminal procedure code O.S. 22 §60 DOMESTIC ABUSE ACT. Who, when and why to file a protective order is clearly defined and governed by this rule.

Tribal Nations, though similar are distinct and each Tribe has specific laws that would need to be met to obtain a protective order.
